On September 6, 2023, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued an important notification regarding the 2024 CBSE Board Exams. There is no deadline extensions for the submission of class 10th and 12th LOC (List of Candidates). The deadline for the submission of List Of Candidates (LOC) forms is on September 18, 2023 without late fees, and on September 19, 2023, need to pay late fees charges.
The official notification says that the staff responsible for filling information should know and follow the guidelines in the circular to prevent any type of errors. Parents should also understand the importance of giving accurate information, as there may be the consequences if incorrect data is provided.
Earlier, the CBSE had given guidance to both schools and students, stressing the importance of correctly listing subjects when creating the ‘List of Candidates.’ Failure to do so could result in students won’t be able to take part in the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams in 2024. Also, the CBSE Borad has expressed concerns about students those who are careless and providing incorrect information in their candidate forms. Additionally, the Board has underlined that schools have duty to verify and guarantee that information provided is accurate for student data.

The CBSE Board has officially released the Class 10th and 12th Board Exam Date Sheet for 2023. On December 29, 2022, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) made a significant announcement, revealing the examination dates for the year 2023.
According to the CBSE, both the Class 10th and 12th Board Examinations are scheduled to commence from 15th February 2023. This announcement marks a crucial moment for students nationwide, as they embark on their final preparations for these important academic milestones.
At the time of releasing the CBSE Board Exams date sheet, the CBSE board Official said that sufficient gap has been given between two subjects. Also, other factors such as competitive entrance tests have also been taken into account in deciding the dates. Examination will begin at 10.30 am.

Important Announcement: CBSE Board Exam 2024 Form Submission for Private Candidates Opens on September 12, 2023
Starting September 12, CBSE Board will begin accepting forms from Class 10 and 12 for private candidates. Eligible students must meet the certain criteria set by the CBSE Board. This includes students who need to retake exams, those who were in a compartment, or those who didn’t pass in previous years.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start accepting forms from Class 10 and 12 private candidates from September 12. Students need to visit the official CBSE Board website at www.cbse.gov.in complete the process.
Here is the list of students who can submit the online forms:
- Students who have been declared as “essential repeat” in their 2023 results are eligible to apply.
- Students who have been placed in a compartment during their exams are also eligible to apply as private candidates for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations.
- Students who have failed or have been declared essential repeat candidates in the years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 are eligible to apply.
- Students who have passed out in the year 2023 and wish to appear to improve their exam scores are eligible to apply as private candidates for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations.
As per the CBSE notice, candidates who have been placed in the above-mentioned categories can begin submitting their online forms for the exam on September 12, 2023.
